What are the most important characteristics of an effective organizational culture leader?

Today, in a lecture, a Finance student asked, “What characteristics are necessary for an organizational culture leader?”

When asked such questions in an open forum, you never know for sure what will come to mind. The following three characteristics came to mind.

1. The belief in the potential of every individual and all the organization’s members . The belief that the potential of the collective, is greater than the potential of the leader by himself or herself.

2 The desire and ability to listen. It takes a lot of time and money to systematically listen to individuals, departments, and the whole organization.

3. The sharing of power (empowerment) in creating a vision for the future of the organization.
